Relief Support Worker / Canvey Island (SS8)

Dimensions are seeking relief support personnel to join our inspiring care team on Canvey Island. Respite work offers maximum flexibility - without the obligation to take shifts, you can tailor your work to your personal commitments. Instead of accruing annual leave, this is paid in addition to your hourly rate while you work. Whether you've supported people with learning disabilities before or are looking for a career change, we'd love to hear from you. It is a great step towards the health sector.

We are supporting six adults (three men and three women) with learning disabilities and autism on Canvey Island. The successful applicant will work on a 1: 1 and 2: 1 basis providing support to access the community, cook, go to today's centers, volunteer work, and support to go to the gym and swim. This is a mixed-gender team and all support workers should feel comfortable providing full personal care for men and women. Full training will be provided.

Typical shift patterns available will be between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., including weekend work and night shifts.
