- Manage the team by setting smart goals, monitoring progress, training / identifying development needs and actions, contributing to the Performance Management / Career Development Process.
- Contribute directly to the achievement of financial and operational goals within the Operating Unit (active commercial teams) or region in support of the overall financial and strategic objectives of the company.
- Establish budgets, short and long term goals and criteria to monitor progress and measure success.
- Ensure that sales strategies are aligned with the strategies of the Operating Unit and that there is support in the field.
- Oversee new product / market introductions, sales training programs, visit of key surgeons / key accounts, and attendance at key industry congresses and meetings.
- Provide strategy and direction for ongoing business development, implementation of marketing plans, development of sales and market development tools and objectives, and business growth for the region.
- Maintain long-term sales and marketing plans, continuously optimize and improve return on sales and marketing investments.
- Enforce pricing governance to ensure profitability in line with company objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory / legal requirements, BCS, and operational policies.
- Manage dealer relationships and performance, continuously monitor and optimize inventory management / levels.
- Provide timely reports.
- Monitor adverse events of the company's products and, where appropriate, report them in a timely manner in accordance with the procedure.
Should have:
- Title related to health (scientist or engineer).
- More than 10 years of professional experience in a business function (Sales, Marketing, Business / Market Development) with 5-10 years or more in Health / Medical Devices / Pharma.
- More than 3 years of leadership experience, ideally with heterogeneous sales and marketing teams.
- Specific knowledge of Cath Lab products.
- A leadership personality that enables strategic direction, collaborates well in a matrix structure, recruits and manages talent, embraces and promotes transformational change, considers patient and client impact, sets team expectations, and influences responsibility.
- Solid knowledge of the company's commercial strategy and future growth plans for his area of responsibility.
- Able to establish direct sales and operating plans with direct impact on function results, including target revenue, resource allocation, expenses, and future business opportunities.
- Able to carry out the execution and implementation of a series of important business transactions or projects.
- Able to quantify the financial impact of decisions and identify key factors when making recommendations
